To manage, coordinate and execute on IDP IELTS obligations and commitments to regulatory and sector stakeholders with a strong focus on compliance and reporting.

The post holder will act as IDP's lead representative on cross partner IELTS teams (British Council and Cambridge University Press and Assessment) in effective management of IELTS stakeholders which include border authorities (primarily UK Visas and Immigration, but also others such as Australia's Department of Home Affairs, and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship) and regulators such as Ofqual.

The role will also support IELTS work with recognising organisations in the higher education and international migration sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Make a strong contribution to IDP and IELTS partner stakeholder management strategy.
  2. Ensure IELTS meets all compliance requirements and reporting obligations as per contract terms, regulatory guidelines and stakeholder expectations.
  3. Take a lead role in managing, servicing and winning the UKVI concession contract as part of a cross-partner team.
  4. Lead, coordinate, collaborate as necessary on initiatives and projects relating to IELTS and sector stakeholders.
  5. Respond in a timely and effective manner to stakeholder requests, individually and as part of a cross IELTS partner teams and work groups.
  6. Build and maintain constructive and collaborative relationships with the IELTS partners, day to day and for the longer term.
Required experience:
  • Experience in stakeholder and contract management, or a related role, in a commercial and/or government / public sector contexts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Confidence to present to senior internal and external audiences.
  • Experience of working within the language assessment, qualifications or education sectors.
  • Experience of exercising high levels of autonomous judgement.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills.
