We're building the financial membership of the future. Starting with a credit card that has fun and experiences at its core, we're the antithesis to your dad's stuffy, corporate, boring credit card.
Whilst tech is revolutionising the finance industry, credit is still stuck in the stone ages. We want to create a world where financial services are fair and conscious, and the stress of debt is eliminated for everyone.
We've raised an additional £23.4M in September 2024 to grow our team, launch even better rewards and fast-track our expansion outside the UK.
Sounds cool. What's my part in this?Experiences bring our product to life. Whether it's the latest restaurant opening, a new West End theatre show or a breakout consumer goods brand that is challenging the fashion industry, our members trust us to curate Experiences that empower them to live financially rewarding lives. And brand partnerships power Experiences.
We're looking for a Partnerships Manager to own new business acquisition in our eCommerce category. You'll be responsible for the entire sales cycle from sourcing, lead generation and contract negotiation, to implementation - which includes media planning and delivering the first campaign. You'll largely be engaging SMB owner-directors, but may also need to present to C-suite decision makers, which means you're equally as comfortable hopping on a 15 minute video call to qualify and close in one session as you are designing proposals in presentation format, over a couple of meetings. Here's what a day might look like:
- Identifying brand targets and decision makers at those targets, and designing the appropriate messaging to make contact and build a relationship.
- Developing a deep understanding of the problems these brands are trying to solve, across a range of verticals. eCommerce covers everything from food products, to beauty and fashion. This is not a traditional sales role; we believe in building true partnerships that have fair value exchange at the very core.
- Analyse campaign performance to optimise brand campaigns, and to share insights with the rest of the business on how the category is performing in any given period.
Is passionate about connecting eCommerce with customers. You can get anything on the internet these days, and with so much choice, what sets the successful brands apart? How do you spot a newcomer that has tonnes of potential? You will have an inkling for the answer because you've already got some experience working with eCommerce brands, and/or love to shop and are the target audience for a lot of the brands we'd love to work with.
Has 2+ years sales experience. You know the basics of how to manage a high volume pipeline, and ensuring sufficient top of funnel activity to meet quotas. You're looking to strengthen your skillset while bringing on brands in industries that you're excited about.
Has or is keen to develop commercial acumen. The commercial arrangements with brands will have a direct impact on the P&L so you'll need to be comfortable with numbers.
Is obsessed with partner outcomes. Starting a business is hard, and the margins are probably tiny to start - we're not interested in reducing them to further our gain. You should be excited to roll up your sleeves and understand independent businesses, what they need, and how we can work together. This might mean advocating internally, or walking away from an opportunity altogether - because it's in their best interests. Equally, you should not see an established brand as dollar signs; instead, you should be excited to understand how the engine of their business model works, so you can work with them to pour Yonder fuel onto that fire and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.

You will have an initial Zoom call with Hels to find out more about you and to tell you more about us. - Stage 2: Case interview (60 mins):
This will be a Zoom call with Hels and Kate. You will be given a take home task, which you'll share back on the call. This is designed for us to understand how you think. - Stage 3: Face-to-face interview (2 hours):

This stage will be with one of our co-founders, and someone from our wider team.

- We'll also include a 15-minute comfort break.
- Stage 4: Offer If everyone's happy, we'll make you an offer to join us - YAY! We hope to always give you a decision between each stage within 24 hours (where possible).
- We love closing the feedback loop at Yonder. You can expect specific feedback on our decision from Stage 2 onwards, and you can always ask for more.
- We must complete the right to work & criminal background checks for every new Yonder-er for compliance purposes because we handle sensitive customer data.
- We also do reference checks, ideally with your most recent manager on the phone.
- We like to move quickly at Yonder, so we will be ready to onboard you once the above checks are complete - the entire process can take between 2 - 6 weeks.
We know that diverse teams build better products. If you're from an under-represented community, we'd especially love to hear from you.
Even if you don't feel 100% qualified, please do apply anyway. Your attitude and desire to grow are just as important as your experience.
