Patent Attorney (EPA/CPA) - Technology/Telecoms - IP Consultancy

You are a commercially astute EPA or CPA Qualified Patent Attorney with a technology-focused scientific background looking for a uniquely challenging position. You must have acquired excellent academic achievement to date, with a degree in a STEM subject (Physics, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science). Experience of working in patent law within a private practice, full-service law firm, or in-house is desired.

This unique Patent Attorney role with an industry-leading IP consultancy is firmly established within a top-tier practice group, and the team is responsible for advising many of the world's biggest technology companies on transactions and disputes.

You should possess a natural aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking and have a proactive drive to innovate and learn new skills. You thrive on thinking outside of the box to solve complex problems, enabling you to impart clear, actionable advice for a wide range of clients.

You will advise on all aspects of patent law, especially licensing disputes and Standard Essential Patents. Analyzing patent datasets and explaining results to clients in a cohesive and transparent manner will be second nature to you. You should also possess an aptitude to liaise effectively with stakeholders from a diverse range of teams, including clients and those abroad, from non-technical lawyers and senior managers to specialized roles such as engineers, economists, data analysts, statisticians, and IT developers.
