About The Company:
My unique client based in Hastings is going through a period of sustained growth and expansion which is set to continue.
The Role:
My client is currently looking for a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join the team. Working within the HR team, you will be responsible for providing a professional service to all employees, ensuring all staff are paid correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the various payrolls in a timely and accurate manner.
- Responsible for setting up new employees and managing all employee changes on the Payroll/HR system.
- Complete the preparation of monthly payroll journals and ensure they are submitted to Finance in a timely manner.
- Management of Company holiday, absence and sick pay, and all statutory calculations such as maternity, paternity and sickness.
Desirable Skills:
- Proven experience as a payroll professional in a similar environment.
- Knowledge of current payroll legislation and procedures.
- Advanced excel skills including VLOOKUPS.
- High degree of accuracy and flexible to changing demands of the role.
