Role Purpose
Provision of specialist, people related services and advice to our internal customers (managers and employees), to meet operational and business needs whilst maintaining professional standards. The role will support the P&T Director and P&T Partners in their operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the P&T team in launching new initiatives and projects, including the launch and embedding of Workday.
  • Using data to report on key employee metrics such as employee turnover, leaver data, diversity and inclusion and employee engagement feedback. Additionally, pro-actively using this data to inform actions to continuously improve the employee experience.
  • Providing timely advice around relevant employment law, HR policies and procedures and HR best practice.
  • Providing advice to managers and employees on a range of ER issues including disciplinary, grievance and redundancies.
  • Ownership of the performance management process, escalating complex cases to P&T Partners as needed.
  • Conducting First impressions meetings with new starters and Exit interviews with designated leavers. Feeding back data to the P&T team to ensure we are alerted to issues and managing them.
  • Coaching, training and supporting line managers to ensure they understand best practice across the employee life cycle.
  • Questioning and challenging others to get to the root of the people and business issues.
  • Role modelling the LBR values, culture and behaviours.
  • Seeking and recommending improvements to the P&T processes and procedures.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • Ability to work in a confidential and discrete manner.
  • Ability to build great stakeholder relationships - responsive, trustworthy and pro-active.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Demonstrate integrity and confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • Workday experience ideally or similar HRS.
