Where will you be working?
M Group Highways
At M Group Highways, we're supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don't just build roads and bridges - we're building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work.
You'll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK's number one highway maintenance contractor. Our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.
What will you be doing?
Senior stakeholder management is essential - do you have experience with this? You'll provide strategic support for the contract, driving the people plan for your area. You'll support talent management via succession planning, upskilling & development plans. You'll coach and build the capability of managers. You'll be part of a team of 11 people, each responsible for their own "patch". Hybrid working - approximately 60% in offices/sites and 40% remote - this will vary each week. Performance indicators will be deliverables on the people plan, vacancy rates, retention & engagement.
What you'll bring
Experience at this level - it doesn't need to be in the same industry. Willingness to travel amongst our Hampshire depots & offices - are you comfortable with this?
