Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Tooting, South London

Location: Tooting, South London
Practice: Part of a proudly independent group of multi-award-winning surgeries that are dedicated to providing excellent service to clients, respectful, caring, and expert care for animals, and a supportive encouraging workplace for their teams. This is a new GP surgery with dentistry, digital x-ray, ultrasound and 3 consulting rooms, prep, and theatre.
Team: They have a network of excellent veterinary surgeons who have been handpicked for their clinical skills, experience, and ability to provide compassionate care for four-legged (or three-legged, finned, or feathered) friends.
Role: There is so much potential for Registered Veterinary Nurses to progress in this group of practices. If optimising patient care is your thing, then they want to hear from you. This is their primary focus and they are also working towards being a fear-free practice!
Hours: This is a full-time position that involves a small share of the weekend rota - just 1:3 Saturday mornings!
Duties:
- As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be working alongside an experienced Vet, and a dedicated support team.
- With this position, you have the opportunity to support nursing and support teams with clinical coaching opportunities and the chance to further progress your career through CPD and further certification support.
- As an RVN, you'll play an integral part in their dedicated day team, providing compassionate care and support to patients in need.
Candidates: They are looking for a proactive and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to drive this practice into a new lease of life, by bringing your skills, charisma, and dedication to patient care to their consulting room and theatres.
Skills/Experience: They are looking for someone with strong clinical skills and the ability to handle emergency situations with confidence. You must have excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities, and have a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Salary: They are offering a competitive salary of up to £34,000 p/a that is reflective of skills and experience.
