Plant Manager - Food Manufacturing (Flanders Region)

Location: West Flanders, Belgium

Contract: Full-time - Permanent

A leading European food manufacturing group is looking for a passionate and results-driven Plant Manager to lead one of its key production sites located in West Flanders. This site plays a central role in the group's international supply chain and is known for its high-quality standards and continuous improvement mindset.

Your mission:

You will oversee the entire plant's operations (production, maintenance, supply, quality & safety) with the objective of ensuring high efficiency, product excellence, and strong team performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and coach the site's management team (production, technical, quality, logistics, etc.)
• Drive operational performance: output, OEE, cost, service, and quality
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE and food regulations
• Implement continuous improvement and Lean methodologies
• Collaborate with other plants and the group's HQ on strategic industrial initiatives
• Manage budgets, KPIs, investments, and reporting to the Industrial Director

Your profile:

• Engineering or technical degree (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a Plant Manager or similar operational leadership role, ideally in the food industry or FMCG
• Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English - French is a plus
• Data-driven mindset with a hands-on and pragmatic approach
