Job Description
Transformation PMO Manager
Location: Bristol
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract
We're seeking an experienced Transformation PMO Manager to drive our Business Services transformation programme. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing programme governance, reporting, and coordination to ensure successful delivery of critical transformation initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust governance frameworks that align programme activities with strategic objectives
- Create and maintain comprehensive programme standards and methodologies
- Develop and deliver high-impact reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders
- Lead programme planning sessions and coordinate cross-functional work-streams
- Manage resource allocation and resolve conflicts across teams
- Oversee risk and issue management, including identification, mitigation, and escalation
- Serve as the central point of communication for the transformation programme
- Collaborate with third-party partners for management information gathering and reporting
- Drive rapid decision-making for critical transformation-wide issues
What You'll Need
- Proven track record in PMO or programme management, preferably within professional services
- Direct experience with large-scale, high-value strategic transformation initiatives
- Deep understanding of transformation impacts, including Target Operating Model implementation
- Strong knowledge of programme and project management methodologies
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior leadership
- Experience in creating and maintaining governance frameworks
- Strong data visualisation and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
