PMO Project Coordinator

PMO Project Coordinator is needed for a leading organisation based in Croydon, who are looking to employ an experienced PMO Project Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the PMO in delivering successful projects within an agile environment, providing proactive administrative and operational support to the PMO and wider technology team with an in-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, JIRA, confluence, MS Project.
The expected salary for the successful PMO Project Coordinator:
Salary: £40,000 - £42,500 per annum

Some of the main duties of the PMO Project Coordinator will include:
- Support agile teams by maintaining schedules for key agile ceremonies, ensuring meetings run efficiently; performing the role of Scrum Master.
- Document key actions and decisions from agile meetings such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including project plans, sprint backlogs, risk registers, and status reports.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, dashboards, and stakeholder presentations.
- Provide proactive administrative support to the PMO and project teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining project artefacts.
- Track and report on resource allocation, utilisation, and internal cost tracking of change initiatives.
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying areas where efficiencies can be gained in project delivery and reporting.
- Support the adoption and administration of agile project management tools and systems.
In order to be the successful PMO Project Coordinator and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to support agile teams in maintaining effective workflows.
- Proficient in using agile and project management tools, particularly JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Miro, Microsoft Project, Figma, or similar.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritise, and coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Meticulous in maintaining project documentation, tracking actions, and ensuring information accuracy.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that may arise during project execution.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support colleagues to achieve project objectives.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
