Job Description
- Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of projects with business objectives.
- Manage stakeholders and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Ensure compliance with project management standards and guidelines.
- Facilitate decision-making processes to resolve project issues.
- Manage project resources and budget effectively.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the project team.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Portfolio Lead should have:
- Proven experience in strategic planning and transformation delivery, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.
- Ideally from a consultancy background.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations and effectively communicate.
- Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management at the most senior levels up to Exec Board level.
- Highly competent at providing strategic challenge and scrutiny, ensuring alignment with wider policy and strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills plus excellent presentation abilities.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- A passion for driving positive change within organisations.
