Job Description

  • Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment of projects with business objectives.
  • Manage stakeholders and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and guidelines.
  • Facilitate decision-making processes to resolve project issues.
  • Manage project resources and budget effectively.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the project team.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Portfolio Lead should have:

  • Proven experience in strategic planning and transformation delivery, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.
  • Ideally from a consultancy background.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations and effectively communicate.
  • Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management at the most senior levels up to Exec Board level.
  • Highly competent at providing strategic challenge and scrutiny, ensuring alignment with wider policy and strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills plus excellent presentation abilities.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • A passion for driving positive change within organisations.
