Postdoctoral researcher position on the immunopeptidome of food allergens (m/f/d)
Posted 9 hours 59 minutes ago by Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg
Friedrich-Alexander-Universität (FAU) is a full spectrum university and is among the top universities in international and national rankings. The Chair of Food Chemistry, in which the project will be allocated, is part of the Department of Pharmacy and Chemistry and works closely together with the research groups within the Department.
The project will focus on the analysis of the HLA-II presented peptides on antigen presenting cells after the exposure to different food allergens. Food processing effects on the immunopeptidome and the functional consequences for allergy or tolerance development are the main focus of this project. Within the project, food protein isolation, protein analysis, and cell culture experiments will be performed. A central part is the HLA-II immunopeptidome analysis via LC-MS/MS. We work together with the University hospital Erlangen and the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen.
