What You Will Do:- Understand and model the fundamental workings of a first-of-its-kind technology.
- Confidently advise on further research paths for the technology.
- Develop knowledge gaps and proactively identify solutions.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to test and validate technologies.
- Assist in the writing of patents and documentation.
- Engage in transformer design, circuit design, and testing, including high voltage line and load regulation.
- Postgraduate Degree level qualification in electrical engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a research role, preferably within the energy sector.
- Experience working with high voltages and power sources, including pulses.
- Proficiency in conversion of high voltages to AC and DC, including power factor improvement.
- Skilled in transformer design, testing, and circuit design, with familiarity using P spice or similar tools.

Package offering:Salary £65,000 to £75,000 plus Share Options, Health Insurance and 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
