Job Description

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming new Powertrain Engineer in our Automotive team.


As a Powertrain Engineer at B.E.S., you will enjoy a collaborative environment where you will work closely with others in an organisation focused on innovation.


Responsibilities:


  • Design & Development - Design the BEV driveshaft and drivetrain components while following specifications and guidelines,
  • Documentation & Approvals - Prepare and release RDDPs, technical drawings, and drivetrain manuals for validation,
  • Collaboration - Work closely with suppliers and plants to ensure timely production of high-quality parts,
  • Project Management - Oversee project progress, including technical notices, homologation, and total quality checks,
  • Quality Assurance - Ensure quality in mass production and follow up on market-related issues.


Profile:


  • You have a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics,
  • You have 2 years (relevant) experience in automotive mass-production development projects,
  • Knowledge on Functional Safety and Cyber security development frameworks,
  • Strong analytical skills, perseverance, autonomy as well as the ability to work as part of a team. A tireless problem solver, with intellectual curiosity and the drive to investigate technical facts in-depth.
  • Required computer skills: MS Office, any other software knowledge is a strong asset (Catia, Creo, ),
  • Ability to communicate in a clear way at all levels and to visually summarise progress,
  • Fluent in English (writing, reading & speaking). Any other European language is a plus.
