Tax Senior/Manager

Location: Harrogate, HG1
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £55,000 dependent on experience

Key duties:

1. Leading tax advisory projects and working closely with the directors on tax planning matters including Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and profit extraction.
2. Co-ordinating and overseeing tax compliance for a wide range of clients.
3. Undertaking technical tax reviews on personal, partnership, trust and corporation tax computations.
4. Reviewing the work of team members.
5. Managing the P11D process and reviewing the forms prepared by junior members of staff.
6. Preparation of disclosures for HMRC.
7. Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
8. Provide general tax technical assistance to clients, directors and colleagues across the group.

Skills and experience:

1. You will ideally be CTA qualified or with equivalent experience.
2. Able to work effectively in a busy practice environment and ensure deadlines are met.
3. Strong attention to detail.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Excellent time management.
6. Strong prioritisation and organisational skills.
7. Experience of Iris Accountancy Suite an advantage.
