Job summary

An opportunity to work within a well-established consultancy with a team of around 10 consultants. The role will provide a workload geared towards commercial, ideal for candidates at class 2F / class 3.

Principal Building Regulation consultant opportunity for Class 2F / Class 3 individuals.

Our client, a prominent company within the consultancy sector, is currently seeking a Building Regulation Consultant to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide expert advisory services to ensure existing plans are ready for submission to the Building Control body.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing detailed building control advisory services
2. Reviewing and advising on existing plans for compliance with current building regulations
3. Assisting in the preparation of plans for submission to the Building Control body
4. Staying updated with changes in building regulations and compliance requirements
5. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
6. Offering solutions to address compliance issues in ongoing projects

Job Requirements:

1. Experience in building control and a strong understanding of building regulations
2. Registered as minimum 2F within the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), Class 3 registration preferred
3. Proficiency in reviewing and advising on building plans
4. Excellent communication and advisory skills
5. Ability to interpret and apply building regulations effectively
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
