What you will do:

As a Configuration Engineer, you will be trained to operate in the Configuration Management role:

1. Managing the processing of Problem Reports from initiation to final disposition - minimise time to disposition.
2. Managing Trials Modifications to support Problem Report investigations - ensuring results of trials are captured.
3. Managing the processing of Change Requests from initiation to final disposition - minimise time to CRB disposition.
4. Collating the Change Impact assessments from TRB (Technical Review).
5. Supporting the Change initiator and TRB through consultation.
6. Determining if fast track criteria are met and route Change as Fast-Track.
7. Preparing agenda, calling and chairing the CRB (Business Review of change).
8. Setting POE (Point Of Embodiment) & Priority.
9. Determining Change Classification.
10. Implementation Planning and coordination into both the design and physical product.
11. Continuous Improvement activities.

Due to the nature of our products, you must be able to achieve UK Security Clearance (SC) and be authorised to access UK-Eyes-Only and ITAR material. For more information and guidance please visit: UK Security Vetting Clearance Levels .

What we are looking for:

1. HND qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
2. Interest in engineering or science - you will work with technical data from many areas.
3. Strong administration skills with an attention to detail - you are required to have a logical mind-set.
4. Familiarity with Databases, especially PDM/PLM Toolsets or Information Systems and Data Communication - Confident use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
5. MRP Supply and Demand Planning awareness a distinct advantage.
6. CM2 Methodology.
