We're looking for an experienced professional to join us in this exciting role that blends technical expertise with team leadership and client relationship management. You'll be working on projects that help industrial companies reduce their carbon footprint and become more sustainable. This involves assessing their current operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions that utilize the latest clean technologies. You'll also play a key role in developing strategies and plans to guide these companies on their sustainability journey.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing expert advice: You'll use your knowledge of industrial processes and sustainability best practices to advise clients on how to reduce their environmental impact.
- Developing solutions: You'll work with clients to develop and implement strategies and plans to help them achieve their sustainability goals.
- Leading and mentoring a team: You'll provide guidance and support to a team of sustainability professionals, helping them develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
- Building strong client relationships: You'll act as a trusted advisor to your clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service.
- Contributing to business growth: You'll identify new opportunities and help to win new business for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Support the management of a team of sustainability professionals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on sustainability issues.
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and plans for industrial clients.
- Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals and reports.
- Contribute to business development and identify new opportunities.
- Represent WSP at industry events and contribute to thought leadership.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sustainability consulting or a related field, with experience in managing teams and delivering projects.
- A good understanding of industrial processes, energy systems, and sustainability principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: You're able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Understanding of the business side of sustainability consulting and the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
