An ambitious structural engineering consultancy are currently recruiting for a Principal Structural Engineer to join their expanding team. You will gain the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects covering a wide range of sectors. There will be the opportunity to progress further within this role, having the potential to develop through to Director level over time.

Salary & Package: c£65,000 to £70,000 as a guide. 25 days + bank holidays.

Hours of work: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

This Principal Structural Engineer job will suit:

• Exceptional Structural Engineering knowledge, preferably with over 10 years experience within the industry.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas across all levels within the team.

• Experience relevant to UK practice and knowledge of UK design standards, codes of practice and methods of construction.

• An understanding of structural engineering modelling, analysis, and design software (Revit, WinDes/ Flow/ Civils3D/ Site3D - S278/ S104/ S38).

The Principal Structural Engineer job will involve:

• Responsibility for the technical delivery and commercial success of projects.

• Developing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and increasing the likelihood of securing new projects.

• Managing Structural Engineers within the team to help deliver projects to schedule.

• Developing and implementing new initiatives.
