Private Client Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Private Client Solicitor ideally with 10 years of experience to join a private client department at a well-established law firm. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will develop and manage a diverse client portfolio, providing expert legal advice across a range of private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, LPAs and estate administration.

You will be responsible for:

1. Conduct client meetings, document discussions, and handle new enquiries.
2. Perform relevant searches and develop proposals to maximise entitlements under HMRC inheritance rules.
3. Manage cases and files efficiently, supporting the development of junior team members.
4. Contribute to CPD, marketing initiatives, charity and networking events, and the creation of webinars/podcasts and legal clinics.
5. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures while managing client expectations and risks.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as a Private Client Solicitor, Private Client Lawyer or in a similar role.
2. Ideally have 10 years of experience in private client within a legal practice environment.
3. A clear desire to progress to Partner level.
4. Skilled in case management systems and MS Office.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
