Private Client Solicitor Cambridge 1 year PQE+
BCL Legal have been instructed by their client, a recognised L500 regional law firm as they have a vacancy for their Private Client Department in Cambridge.

A prominent UK law firm with a strong presence in the Top 200, the firm offers expert legal services and independent financial advice to a wide range of clients, from individuals and businesses to charities, schools, and national corporations.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Solicitor to join the Private Client team. The firm seeks a dynamic individual with a passion for providing expert legal guidance to a diverse range of clients. The successful candidate will work with clients on matters including Wills, Trusts, Tax, and Probate, taking the next step in their career with a supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting Wills and advising on their implementation.
- Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, along with advising on client-related issues such as Deputyships and other Court of Protection applications, with particular attention to the needs of elderly clients.
- Providing advice on Inheritance Tax Planning, including exemptions and reliefs.
- Offering proactive, client-focused advice to ensure long-term solutions tailored to individual client needs.
Skills and Experience Required:
While the following are desirable, the firm encourages applications even if the full list of requirements is not met:
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with at least 1 year+ PQE in Private Client law.
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service, including being responsive, accessible, and maintaining a positive, client-centric attitude.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness and strong acumen in Private Client matters.
