You will be working for an established manufacturing company in the Merthyr Tydfil area who are dedicated to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. The company is seeking a talented and driven Process Engineer to join our team.
Your new role:The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Analyse and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct process simulations and feasibility studies.
- Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to resolve process-related issues.
- Monitor and analyse process performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of process design, optimisation, and control.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
