About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Procurement & Supply Chain Apprentice. This role will provide hands-on experience in manufacturing planning and administration systems, including JDE, MRP systems, and inventory management, with a focus on spend and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyse inventory levels and schedule orders for both internal factories and external suppliers of finished products.
2. Develop knowledge of different supply chain execution methods and apply them effectively.
3. Support procurement activities, including supplier relationship management and cost control.
4. Maintain and monitor MRP parameters (stock levels & demand) to ensure optimal inventory control.
5. Communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth supply chain operations.
6. Adapt supply patterns to enhance stock value while meeting demand.

1. A strong willingness to learn and build expertise in procurement and supply chain functions.
2. Detail-oriented with a focus on cost control and service efficiency.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
5. A proactive and adaptable mindset, ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

1. Salary £15,600 for first 12 months, then NMW or NLW for the remainder of the contract (18 months)
