Our growing team manages over £2.5billion of indirect/goods not for resale spend, and is on a journey to become a best in class function, with a broad agenda across all areas of procurement from sourcing and cost transformation, through to sustainability and management of some of our most strategic relationships.

Category team - You'll have responsibility for end-to-end sourcing activity along with contributing to the category strategy. You'll also influence and partner your category stakeholders to help deliver our cost transformation activity, and help ensure a best in class cost base.

• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities and support development of category strategies as well as Supplier Relationship Management alongside the Category Lead.
• Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to support transformation initiatives and maintain a competitive cost base.
• Play a key role supporting on major business investments and executive priorities within the function.
• Contribute to our cost and cash programme, leveraging data and analytics in the Centre of Excellence.
• Drive the procurement transformation, setting new standards and defining the procurement technology roadmap.

• Proven experience in Facilities Category & Relationship Management.
• Proven experience of managing large value, critical, outsourced supplier relationships.
• Skilled in crafting and managing complex contracts.
• Adept at balancing and anticipating the needs of various stakeholders.
• Experience in influencing senior levels within a large organisation.
• Agile and adaptable to support business needs in a dynamic transformation environment.

This role is based in Asda House, Leeds and we'd require you to be based from our office at least 3 days per week.
