Market Leading Engineering Services firm is embarking upon a period of transformation and looking forward to hiring a number of new commercial managers into their growing team.
With 8 different teams across a variety of divisions including but not limited to: Sustainability, Assets, Security, Transportation & Revenue programs, there is a vast array of opportunity to lead on exciting new projects.

Role Responsibilities:
- Working within a commercial division, develop innovative procurement strategies to drive innovation and delivery.
- Deliver implementation of post-contract management activities across an array of capital works programs.
- Collaborate and build relationships across the supply chain, operating with a strategic long-term view to ensure effective delivery of projects and contracts in line with wider business strategies.
- Manage multiple programs of infrastructure procurement, developing and implementing procurement strategy.
- Utilities market engagement to develop new commercial models and provide innovative practices, leading the implementation of these into procurement programs.
- Manage supplier issues by looking at continuous improvement objectives whilst monitoring regulatory matters.
Key Skills Sought:
- Strong experience in procurement/contract management/qs within a matrix environment.
- Understanding of operating within a construction/quantity surveying related positions.
- Understanding of construction related contract models such as NEC ideal but not a pre-requisite.
- Strong stakeholder management experience to effectively engage cross-functional stakeholder groups within large environment.
