Description

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead and optimise the central procurement function within Xeinadin. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices that align with business objectives. This position will play a crucial role in driving efficiency, compliance, and value-for-money across all procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and continuously enhance procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
  2. Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring service quality and operational efficiency.
  3. Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance frameworks, and industry regulations.
  4. Oversee the implementation and adherence to ISO 27001 processes and controls.
  5. Ensure compliance and reporting for the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS).
  6. Manage the Know Your Supplier (KYS) process across the business, ensuring alignment with ISO 27001.
  7. Ensure procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, HMRC guidelines, and anti-bribery laws.
  8. Mitigate supply chain risks through due diligence and robust contract management.
  9. Implement sustainable and ethical procurement practices aligned with corporate responsibility goals.
  10. Oversee Group Insurance renewals and cost management.
  11. Manage employee expense claims and the Webexpenses application.
  12. Establish a structured procurement process covering sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
  13. Oversee and review the recovery of IT systems costs internally and externally.
  14. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  15. Negotiate contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and commercial terms to optimise business value.
  16. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to assess quality, cost, service levels, and KYS risk mitigation.
  17. Identify and onboard new suppliers when necessary to enhance service delivery and reduce costs.
  18. Monitor and control procurement expenditure to ensure cost efficiency and budget alignment.
  19. Analyse procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  20. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to forecast procurement needs and budget effectively.
  21. Work closely with department heads, finance teams, and operational staff to align procurement strategies with business needs.
  22. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on procurement policies and best practices.
  23. Effectively manage and resolve procurement-related issues and disputes.
Key Requirements
  1. Proven experience (7-10+ years) in a procurement management role, ideally within a professional services, accounting, audit, or financial services environment.
  2. CIPS qualification and bachelor's degree in supply chain management/business administration/Procurement/Finance or equivalent.
  3. Procure to Pay experience within Netsuite or Equivalent.
  4. ISO27001 compliance and controls implementation.
  5. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable contracts.
  6. Excellent knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain management, and cost control.
  7. Experience with contract management, supplier evaluation, and procurement risk assessment.
  8. Familiarity with UK procurement regulations and compliance requirements.

  2. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  3. Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
