Product Delivery Consultant

As a Lead Product Delivery Consultant, you will work with our clients to define, implement and improve the way they deliver digital products and services. In Business Technology Services (BTS) we specialise in digital transformation and believe that being product-centric is essential to achieving meaningful outcomes. We champion user-centred thinking and work with our clients to both design change and support full delivery of change.

We consider ourselves 'product people' and work across the different product frameworks with our clients. Alongside delivering product model transformation and excellent product management to our clients, we need someone who can help build our product management capability internally and help grow our knowledge base.

Your role

1. Work with our clients to help them design, pilot, implement and iterate a product operating model that is right for them.
2. Take accountability for delivery, lead and inspire colleagues and client staff through product-centric transformations with confidence, empathy and integrity.
3. Coach and develop product leadership and product management skills in client teams.
4. Act as a product leader for our clients, helping them develop their product vision and strategy.
5. Act as a product manager for our clients, balancing the client's strategy with the business, technical and user needs to deliver excellent digital products and services.

Your skills and experience

1. You have a thorough understanding of the Product Operating Model and practical experience of having implemented it for at least one organisation.
2. Experience as a product manager or product owner either in industry or in consulting.
3. Agile by default - strong knowledge of agile development practices.
4. Fantastic consulting skills - facilitating workshops, solving complex problems, writing documents, delivering compelling messages, gaining trust, working with uncertainty, thinking on your feet!
5. You - bring your values, energy, motivation and sense of humour to add to and enhance our team and culture.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
