About the RoleWe are looking for a customer-centric Product Manager to lead the evolution of our marketplace platform. You will take full ownership of the product roadmap, drive improvements and optimization, and bring AI and automation opportunities through the roadmap. You will oversee and have resources across engineering, design, SEO, and product operations ( 7 FTE). Your goal is to scale VenueScanner into a global leader in venue bookings, ensuring a seamless experience for both venues and event organizers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Product Roadmap: Prioritize, run, and execute the roadmap to make VenueScanner the leading venue marketplace globally.
- AI & Automation First Approach: Leverage AI and automation to enhance search, recommendations, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Optimize User Experience: Improve conversion rates and user engagement through data-driven UX enhancements.
- Scalability & Marketplace Growth: Build scalable systems to support rapid international expansion.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and user research to drive continuous product improvements.
- Ownership of Data & Reporting: Define key product metrics, build reporting dashboards, and ensure data-driven insights inform product decisions.
- Manage SEO & LLM Integration: Oversee SEO strategies to enhance organic growth and leverage large language models (LLMs) to improve search, recommendations, and automated interactions.
- Drive Commercial Success: Align product initiatives with revenue and growth objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure product success.
- Experience: 5+ years in product management, preferably within marketplace, SaaS, or e-commerce businesses.
- Marketplace Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a marketplace business is required.
- Startup Experience: Used to and love working in a small, agile team punching above their size, having daily impact!
- AI & Automation Enthusiasm: Strong understanding of AI applications in marketplaces and constantly upskilling.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand technical constraints.
- User-Centric Mindset: Passion for building intuitive, high-converting products.
- Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics, SQL) to measure and drive improvements.
- Growth Mentality: A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Engineering experience is not required but a plus.
