Integrated Maintenance, repair and development services (IMRDS) is the team that maintains our water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service our customers. This area of Anglian Water has a whole host of roles and opportunities available, from operational frontline work to project management, data analysis and more.

What you will be doing as our Production Engineer?

Receiving planned and reactive project needs from Anglian Water, you'll look to drive the development of solutions with a focus on the whole life cost and business risk reduction of the solution whilst ensuring they are compliant with all required standards and regulations.

This is a fast-paced and dynamic role but one where you can add value across the business and to your career aspirations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operational/Project Delivery Manager in the delivery of Anglian Water project needs
  • Assess solutions, complete root cause analysis with consideration to whole life cost and business risk reduction using the Risk, Opportunity, and Value process.
  • Develop solutions in line with corporate governance processes, technical/safety standards, and legal requirements.
  • Ensure all enabling; including the design, programme, cost and CDM requirements are completed ready for construction handover.
  • Complete and comply with all operational site Health & Safety, Environmental, Water Quality requirements to ensure safe working practices.
  • Support the capture of assets and cost in the relevant corporate systems.
  • Preferable APM Project Management (PMQ) or PRINCE2
  • Preferable NEBOSH or NEBOSH Construction
  • Temporary Works Coordinator preferrable
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Experience in capital delivery within the water sector with a key focus on directly employed staff delivering projects
  • Management of the Construction Design Management Regulations
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in customer management as well as our external stakeholders
  • Be an excellent communicator at all levels to be able to interpret, problem solve and share data at all levels
  • Commercial awareness working with multiple stakeholders
