About Our Client
Our client is a small non-profit organisation in central London.
Job Description
- Prepare timely, accurate and insightful financial reports and management accounts for trustees and senior staff to ensure informed decision making, particularly relating to fundraising.
- Ensure all relevant reconciliations are up to date.
- Ensure accounting and reporting processes are being completed in a timely fashion.
- Support the preparation of all regular financial processing and ensure all financial procedures and policies are relevant, up-to-date, and adhered to.
- Provide commentary and analysis of the charity's financial position and identify potential financial risks and mitigations.
- Support the development and completion of projects including: The implementation of an expenses App, the creation and implementation of a new Chart of Accounts, reconfiguring the use of the SAGE package and VAT position review.
The Successful Applicant
- Relevant academic background in Accounting & Finance (ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified).
- Experience in a similar role within the non-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office.
