We are seeking a Project Engineer with an electrical bias to deliver innovative technical solutions in support of our business needs.
This role involves providing sound engineering solutions for project delivery across various technical issues and implementing continuous improvement strategies. You will need to quickly understand complex technical matters and design and implement solutions tailored to the challenging marine environment.
The role includes project engineering, management of smaller projects, producing engineering designs and prototypes, reviewing tenders, creating specification documents and reports, producing drawings with technical staff, conducting surveys, testing, and commissioning both on-site and at the depot. Strong problem-solving skills are essential to overcome technical challenges and improve service delivery.
While based in Harwich or Swansea, you will be required to work on-site at remote stations onshore and offshore within our jurisdiction. Visits may last from a few days up to three weeks and often outside normal office hours.

Skills and Experience- Experience in a highly technical engineering environment
- Knowledge of project management techniques
- Understanding of HSE and CDM regulations in operational settings
- Experience managing contractors
- Knowledge of public sector procurement rules
- Experience tracking budgets against targets
- Level 4 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Project management qualification (e.g., Prince2) desirable
