Job Opportunity: Project Engineer (M&E) - Water Sector
Location: Lower Moor- Beckford - Pershore area
Rate: Up to £500 per day (inside IR35, umbrella)
Contract: 3-6 months with potential for extension
My client is seeking a skilled Project Engineer with experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering for the Water sector. Join a dynamic team delivering critical waste water treatment projects across the Pershore area.
Role Responsibilities:- Collaborate with suppliers and site teams to manage equipment from order to on-site delivery, ensuring alignment with RAMS and QA documentation.
- Support and manage project engineering functions, including:
- RAMS development
- Clip programme and collaborative planning
- Site meetings and supervision of Tier 2 contractors as needed
- Coordination with design and project management teams
- Engage in the TQ process, assisting with tracking and supply chain communications.
- Support PM with OWL and action trackers, and offer buildability insights.
- Certifications:
- SSSTS (minimum), SMSTS preferred
- CSCS Card (Black preferred, Silver/Gold accepted)
- Education: Relevant M&E qualification (HNC or higher)
- Experience:
- 5+ years in Tier 1 Wastewater Treatment
- Temporary works and temporary treatment knowledge
- Proficient in over-pumping processes (excluding dewatering)
- Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project (MSP)
- Multi-disciplinary skills (Mechanical and Electrical)
- Familiarity with ITP/ITF creation and collaboration with design and commissioning teams
