Recently named Team of the Year at the UK Business Innovation Awards, we are passionate and trusted experts creating industry-leading solutions through attracting and developing the best talent.
Team: The Commercial Systems team is a thriving team focused on the ongoing maintenance and evolution of the Customer Relations Management (CRM - Salesforce) and Order Management System (OMS - Lineup). We are continuously improving and building on our commercial capabilities through improved data capture, hygiene and workflows, timely and accurate reporting and functionality improvements that save time for all teams that use and rely on these systems' downstream output.
Role: You'll be responsible for the delivery of Commercial Systems projects that underpin digital and print Sales Operations' quote to cash workflows. You will work closely with a wide range of senior stakeholders and external vendors to implement features and improvements that align with commercial sales and operations, technology and financial teams' strategies.
Day to day you will be:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of commercial systems projects and features, prioritising based on business value and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with the product owner and system analysts to articulate and detail roadmap items for delivery teams and external vendors.
- Use Agile methodologies to break down complex business proposals into clear roadmaps with accurately estimated release plans.
- Monitor and report project status, progress, blockers, and changes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the process.
- Manage team dependencies by fostering collaboration and organisation across technology programmes, third parties, and key stakeholders.
- Utilise metrics to identify process improvement opportunities, implement changes, and measure their effectiveness within the teams.
- Apply Agile approaches to build collaborative, cross-functional teams that deliver business value and meet objectives effectively.
- Anticipate and mitigate project risks, manage the release process, and act as a key point of contact for live incidents and escalations when necessary.
What we are looking for in you:
- Experience in a project management role, with a track record of technical achievement.
- Significant and demonstrable experience in leading data-driven projects in a fast moving environment.
- Knowledge of CRM and/or OMS are a significant benefit. Alternatively, advertising or general media sales knowledge and experience is beneficial too.
- Strong, proactive communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Versatility in facilitation approaches (including facilitating from the sidelines) to foster greater collaboration between colleagues and multiple stakeholders.
- Eager and quick to learn.
If you believe you have the skills and passion to succeed, even if you don't meet every requirement on the list, we encourage you to apply. We value potential just as much as experience and are eager to hear from individuals who are enthusiastic about learning and growing with us.
