Fantastic opportunity to join our Tier 1 banking client as a Python SME to support the Front Office, and Quantitative Technology Services teams.
Python is used to build automation, perform data analysis, and build machine learning models within the company. The successful candidate will be the Python Subject Matter Expert and will support those in the Technology, Front Office, and Quantitative Technology Services teams. They will define best practices, create documentation and publish blog posts. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Quantitative Technology Services team to productionize their Machine Learning models. This will involve creating deployment pipelines and setting up monitoring

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES ASSESSMENT
Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar. Strong knowledge of Python programming. Familiarity with containerisation technologies (eg Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform). Experience with VCS systems (we use GitLab) and CI/CD tools (eg GitLab CI). Skills in Machine Learning engineering. Understanding of how to use REST APIs and build integration with other tools
