About the RoleThe position we're recruiting for is on an established trading system development project with a large enterprise client, handling millions of dollars of traded value each day. We are looking for a senior or high performing QA Automation Engineer to join our development team.
Please note that it is not a blockchain-based application.
What You'll Be Doing- Building and maintaining automated test pipelines utilizing Playwright tests
- Analyzing, understanding, and reviewing the products' functional and non-functional requirements and identifying gaps and inconsistencies
- Developing automated tests for software validation, ensuring high quality of the system
- As part of the QA team, taking ownership of quality aspects of the system
- Reporting and managing/triaging existing defects, ensuring proper follow-up and actions are being taken by the team
- Promoting and adopting QA best practices, contributing to their continuous improvement
- Contributing to the definition of test automation guidelines and standards in order to improve the software testing process
- QA Engineering Experience (software testing experience). At least three years experience writing automated tests for web and/or non-web based applications
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes with fluency in Javascript/Typescript and Git/GitHub
- Knowledge of Jest, Playwright and BDD tools (e.g. Cucumber)
- Experience of high volume, high availability, high stakes enterprise systems
- Experience building and/or testing REST and/or web socket based APIs
- Experience with trading applications (in production)
- Performance testing experience with K6, Artillery or similar
- 5 days per year for training
