BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  2. Experience in manual testing
  3. Experience in automation testing
  4. Experience scripting or coding
  5. Experience with performance and scalability testing
Key job responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE), you will join the team of hands-on, pro-active, self-motivated and seasoned QAE professionals. In this role, you will:

  1. Expert knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools
  2. Ability to understand technical specifications and analyse log files
  3. Ability to author complex test plans and test cases
  4. Experience in UI & back-end testing and automation
  5. Work with Software Development Engineers and influence test architecture and engineering best practices
  6. Drive quality through process, instrumentation, requirements and testing
  7. Use domain knowledge to drive test strategy
  8. Provide quality and risk assessments for related areas and teams
  9. Define quality and operational metrics within a project
  10. Have detailed knowledge of test strategy for product architecture(s)
  11. Make quality trade-offs between short-term team and long-term business needs
  12. Enthusiasm to dig into technical specifications and troubleshoot problems
  13. Strong organizational skills, ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results
  14. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
A day in the life

As a QA Engineer, you will champion the quality of our features in the development pipeline using both automated and manual tests, reporting and verifying defects, and signing-off on features and release candidates. You will own the authoring and execution of test plans and test cases. You will have a significant impact on the quality and delivery speed of our software/business, and most importantly our customers. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA in order to ensure the features we deliver to our customers have a high level of quality. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to propose improvements to our existing processes and automated tools in order to improve the team's speed, quality and efficiency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
  2. Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
