Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer UK (Remote-Friendly)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automate with Precision: Design, execute, and optimise automated test scripts using industry-leading tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
  2. Master Manual Testing: Conduct exploratory, regression, and functional testing to uncover UI/UX flaws, usability gaps, and edge-case bugs.
  3. Build Testing Frameworks: Develop detailed test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with agile workflows, ensuring traceability and scalability.
  4. Validate APIs Rigorously: Test API reliability, security, and integration using Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
  5. Embed QA in CI/CD: Partner with DevOps to integrate automated tests into pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for rapid, reliable releases.
  6. Champion Quality Advocacy: Log defects meticulously (JIRA, Azure DevOps) and collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize fixes.
  7. Stress-Test Systems: Execute performance, load, and security tests to meet healthcare compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  8. Elevate User Experience: Work with product and UX teams to refine workflows for care professionals and patients.

Essential Requirements:
3+ years in QA Engineering with a balanced focus on automation (60%) and manual testing (40%).
