Position Overview:

We seek an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with 3-4 years of postgraduate experience in fit-out and joinery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to join a forward-thinking team where your skills and ideas will be valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for fit-out and joinery projects
  • Perform accurate estimating of project costs, materials, and labour
  • Manage project finances and ensure cost control
  • Conduct risk management and value engineering
  • Prepare bills of quantities, schedules, and project documentation
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Monitor project progress and prepare financial reports
  • Collaborate with site managers and clients to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of post-graduate experience as a Quantity Surveyor in fit-out and joinery
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, estimating, and contract administration
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Evaluate & Procore
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About You:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced role.

  • Excellent communication skills liaising with clients and internal team members
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Commercial awareness within the fit-out and joinery sector
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Manage your time and workload effectively
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK
