Randstad Digital - Data Engineer

Your role

• As a Data Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our data team, working alongside BI analysts, data scientists, data stewards, and developers to create the systems and tools we need to process and analyze large amounts of data
• You'll be responsible for defining our Big Data architecture and infrastructure, determining which data to collect, and ensuring that the right data is collected - whether it's structured data from databases and logs, or unstructured data from free-form sources like Pdfs and emails
• You'll also be the one responsible for transforming our data, organizing it, and cleaning it, so that our data analysts and scientists can use it to develop and monitor KPIs in a scalable manner

Your profile

• Deep understanding of Big Data infrastructure, ETL tools, data modeling, and computing platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Strong command of SQL and experience working with Hadoop and Spark
• Bonus points if you have experience with Machine Learning
• Proactive team member who can communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent in Dutch and English
