Job Description

Real Time Validation and Reporting Analyst

Salary: £29,661 - £37,035 per annum dependant on experience (increasing by 4.5% from 1st April).

Location: Bradford/Hybrid Working - a mix of working from home and in the office at Bradford

Work Type: Permanent role, working full time, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm. The role will require some weekend working on a rota basis.

Role Overview: We have an exciting opportunity for a number of Real Time Validation & Reporting Analyst's to join us in the Central Control Team and help ensure accuracy in our Storm Overflow Map.

What We Do: We provide essential water and wastewater services to every corner of the Yorkshire region, ensuring clean and safe drinking water and effective wastewater management.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Administer the Storm Overflow Map, ensuring monitoring equipment performs satisfactorily.
  • Raise remedial work for monitoring equipment or ensure Waste Operatives address issues.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements and provide commentary for annual data submission to the Environment Agency.
  • Focus on real-time validation and reporting for waste compliance.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the Wastewater system
  • Proven analytical skills and data access from corporate systems (Odyssey, SAP, etc.)
  • Database and Spreadsheet expertise
  • Advanced data handling and reporting skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
  • Logical and methodical problem-solving skills
  • Commitment and flexibility under pressure
  • Team player with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
