We are looking for inspiring Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Medicine Division at Colchester Hospital. You will need to have proven experience at a band 5 in the acute medicine environment.
We have positions available in our Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU) and Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit (AECU).
EAU is a 47 bedded unit that works closely alongside the High Observation Bay and the AMSDEC unit to provide a safe and effective flow through the services we provide.
AECU is designed to help stream patients out of the Emergency Department who need same day care. The unit is conducive to caring for patients who present as stable with the intention of being discharged after assessment and treatment.
These are fast-paced and exciting environments to work in and will be a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. If you have a passion for high standards of clinical care and an innovative and progressive attitude, this could be the role for you.
We welcome candidates with experience within acute medical settings who are keen to progress their career within urgent care. You will hold a current professional registration; have excellent communication skills, the ability to remain professional under pressure, and excellent leadership skills.
If you have good juggling skills to balance operational delivery, patient safety, quality, and patient experience, this could be the challenge you are looking for!
