We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be working at our site in Balfron alongside our sister practice, Struthers & Scott in Killearn, the time will be shared between both sites as we would be happy to work days around the right candidate. You will be part of a well-established team providing all aspects of nursing including assisting in theatre, monitoring of anaesthesia, laboratory work, radiography including dental radiography, inpatient care, consulting, cleaning and maintenance of clinical areas and equipment. You will be hardworking, a team player, and comfortable with sole charge.

Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale on your work life balance. We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance.

Ideally we are looking to cover 40hrs per week over 5 days; however, we are happy to consider and discuss flexible working options. Shift patterns would include 8:30am - 4:30pm and 10am - 6pm. A share of 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8:30am - 12:30pm.

Jackson Vets were established in 1985 and moved to the current beautiful modern premises in Balfron in October 2024, offering veterinary services in the community for more than 30 years. We understand our client's needs, which is why we offer 24 hours emergency call-out services and have a team of experienced veterinary surgeons and support staff who can look after all kinds of domestic pets.
