Skills:
- Good experience in IT within the Luxembourg finance sector.
- Strong knowledge of fund administration, custody, NAV calculation, and investor services.
- Expertise in Luxembourg finance regulations (UCITS, AIFMD, AML, etc.).
- Experience managing regulatory IT projects (MiFID II, PRIIPs, FATCA, CRS, ESG reporting).
- Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of vendor financial systems is an an advantage not essential.
- Fluency in English is required
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in IT within the Luxembourg Finance sector, with experience in funds and securities, shareholder services, fund services, and asset management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT-related projects, analysing business requirements, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology-driven financial solutions. This role involves working closely with key stakeholders, IT teams, and regulatory bodies to drive operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Gather, analyse, and document IT-related business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose IT solutions to enhance operational processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement business and regulatory technology solutions.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage IT projects related to fund operations, regulatory changes, and system enhancements.
- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
- Monitor and report project progress, managing stakeholder expectations.
Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure IT systems comply with Luxembourg's UCITS, AIFMD, AML/KYC, and CSSF regulations.
- Work with compliance teams to align business processes with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Implement best practices for MiFID II, PRIIPs, and FATCA/CRS reporting through IT solutions.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key liaison between operations, transfer agents, asset managers, external parties, and IT teams.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive consensus and decision-making.
- Support client onboarding, fund launches, and operational transitions from an IT perspective
