The NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility is a well-established Clinical Research Facility covering two sites; a comprehensive Cancer and Medical research facility on the Bloomsbury campus and the Leonard Wolfson Experimental Neurology Centre, a dedicated neuroscience experimental medicine facility at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

We are looking to recruit a self-motivated and enthusiastic Data Administrator to work in the CRF, responsible for the data entry of a portfolio of clinical trials in relation to the data collected from first-into-human through to complex and innovative phase 3 trials, and experimental non-IMP studies. The post holder will ensure high quality data in line with the study protocol, the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the UK Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations.

The post holder will be based across both CRF sites according to the needs and requirements of the busy and dynamic study portfolio.

The role of the Data Administrator post will be to support the CRF in the data entry and data management of academic and commercial clinical trials.

Person specification Knowledge & Qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with Grade C or above in English and Maths.
  • Knowledge of drug development process and concept of clinical trials
  • Knowledge of ICH GCP
  • Science related degree or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience of dealing with confidential information
  • Experience of working with clinical trials
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to make decisions in a constantly changing environment using judgement to deal with queries or escalate where necessary
  • Able to prioritise tasks and work flexibly and effectively under pressure with supervision if required
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and work on own initiative
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Experience of working to deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience of Word, Excel and databases
