Research Executive & Consultant level positions

The London office of Rud Pedersen is looking for Research Executives and Consultants to join our growing team!

Our Research Executives and Consultants act as the eyes and ears for both our clients and colleagues. You'll need to be able to juggle multiple tasks, and stay on top of relevant news and current affairs in the political, social media, and news media spheres.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Media and political intelligence gathering, analysis and research, providing high quality reports
2. Note taking during client meetings
3. Preparing briefing notes for clients
4. Lead on content creation, taking responsibility for first drafts of client, media, or political-facing content, as well as social media posts and press releases
5. Ensuring you have a deep understanding of our clients
6. Working collaboratively with other team members, and attending client meetings where appropriate
7. You will produce work for multiple client accounts, often at the same time
8. Continue building your political, and media networks
9. Developing your ability to identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts
10. Creating content for our own marketing and socials
11. Supporting senior members of the team with media and political engagement

Minimum Requirements:

1. Strong academic background, and 1-2 years' professional experience in London, ideally in public affairs consultancy
2. Be immersed in politics, with a keen interest in the news, current affairs and media
3. The ability to communicate in flawless English, both oral and written
4. Proficient user of Microsoft applications, particularly PowerPoint and Word
5. Rigorous attention to detail, working to tight deadlines, and within a collaborative environment
6. Speaking at least one other European language fluently is desirable, though not required
7. Experience using monitoring tools is desirable
8. Legal right to work within the UK
