We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Retirement Living Scheme Manager on an ongoing, temporary basis in Ormskirk with perm potential. This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Your new role
- Delivering allocations and lettings to meet void targets and maximise income
- Delivering key housing and tenancy management tasks such as tenancy enforcement, low level ASB interventions and low level arrears.
- Ensuring the scheme complies with health & safety legislation, recording and managing all incidents and completion of all actions, inspections and fire safety checks
- Ensuring the safety, safeguarding and wellbeing of customers at all times, maintaining regular contact and carrying out morning wellbeing calls
- Monitoring repairs and updating customers on progress, working with colleagues from the asset management team
- Maintaining a positive environment for resident engagement, including arranging, promoting and leading at customer meetings, responding to feedback and informal complaints
- Effective partnership working with local authorities, on-site businesses, stakeholders and other third parties
- Experience of working in a similar setting with vulnerable adults, holding a good knowledge & understanding of housing legislation and principles
- Understanding of allocations/lettings processes and experience of managing low level ASB & rent arrears
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal with the ability to build positive relationships with people at all levels
- Resilience and flexibility with the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise a busy workload
- Strong IT skills
- Weekly pay
- Hourly rates up to £18.37 per hour
- Option to be paid PAYE or Umbrella
- Ongoing temp contract for a minimum of 3-6 months
- Temp to perm potential
