Our gallery showcases a diverse collection of exceptional pieces from over 60 talented independent designers, alongside our own distinctive in-house creations. We pride ourselves on offering a personal and inspiring experience, helping our clients discover jewellery that truly reflects their individual style and story.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our close-knit team as a Sales & Bespoke Consultant for 4 days a week including a weekend day. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine love for jewellery and a proven track record in sales and customer service to contribute to the success of our gallery. You will play a key role in showcasing our stunning collections, guiding clients through bespoke design consultations, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our welcoming space.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with gallery visitors, providing knowledgeable and enthusiastic information about our designers and collections.
• Build rapport with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to assist them in finding the perfect piece.
• Confidently and effectively close sales, meeting and exceeding targets.
• Provide exceptional after-sales care, fostering long-term client relationships.

Bespoke Consultations:

• Conduct engaging and informative bespoke design consultations, guiding clients through the process of creating unique, custom jewellery.
• Collaborate with our design team to understand technical aspects and provide accurate information to clients.
• Manage the bespoke order process, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.

Gallery Presentation & Stock Management:

• Maintain the visual appeal of the gallery, ensuring displays are attractive, well-organised, and reflect the current collections.
• Assist with the receipt, processing, and organisation of new stock.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.

Administrative Support:

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system (Shopify).
• Utilise Excel for basic data entry, reporting, and inventory management.
• Assist with general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the gallery.

About You

• You possess a deep and demonstrable interest in jewellery, including knowledge of different materials, techniques, and designers (experience with contemporary jewellery is a plus).
• You have proven experience in a sales role, ideally within a retail environment, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• You have a natural ability to build rapport and connect with people, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated, with a positive and can-do attitude.
• You are highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• You are proficient in using Microsoft Excel for basic data management.
• Experience using Shopify or other e-commerce/POS platforms is highly desirable.
• You are a team player who enjoys collaborating in a small and supportive environment.
