Job Description

As part of the executive board, this role is suitable for a senior professional, who will be responsible for leading the teams to achieve the company's revenue objectives.

This is a key strategic role with full accountability for delivering accommodation and supporting delivery of secondary spend revenues. The post holder will come from a strong commercial background with experience of directing marketing and sales functions; including developing, implementing and managing the marketing and PR strategies through multi-channel campaigns, maintaining a consistent corporate image and ensuring that the brand is well communicated.

The individual will have an in-depth understanding of sales management and business marketing tools, with a talent for developing and conducting sales campaigns as well as devising innovative and effective marketing and promotional plans. Delivering an awareness of all marketing activities aiming to drive awareness to sales - ranging from digital, print, media and social media.

The post holder will oversee the digital performance to ensure that online booking and digital platform conversion is maximised.

The post holder will oversee the coordination of external agencies, ensuring effectiveness and appropriate ROI is achieved.

To prepare reports and presentations to update senior leadership with sales progress. Analyse key performance metrics and provide market research forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results and consumer trends.

Adjust marketing plan in light of above and formulate unique insights to better understand the consumer and contribute towards the overall business strategy.

The Successful Applicant

Passionate about the leisure and hospitality industry and family holiday market.

Full understanding of brand proposition and ability to translate it into marketing communications and campaigns.

Demonstrable commercial acumen and ability to translate business goals into sales targets and drive revenue across the business and across online platforms.

Able to lead and motivate the team to thrive in a high performance and pressured environment.

Excellent organisational skills, personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
