The role:
Sales Engineering are one of three teams that define customer engagement and journey, alongside Customer Success and Services. As a Sales Engineer (SE), you will be responsible for assisting the Logpoint account team by demonstrating the technical feasibility of the Logpoint solutions for new prospects, and upselling to existing customers as required. The SE will also be responsible for feeding back technical issues and requirements related to Logpoint to the appropriate teams, such as Support, Documentation, Customer Success, Services, and Product Management.
Your day to day:
- Support sales executives with value and maturity-based technical solutions selling into the defined prospect account base, alongside the customer success and services teams.
- Demonstrate the use cases related to the business case associated with each sales opportunity, and match customer pain/requirements to proposed technical solutions.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proof of value (PoV) that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
- Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
- Escalate any technical deficiencies with the existing portfolio on a per-opportunity basis to the Sales, Sales Engineering, Support, and Product Management teams as required to enable opportunities to be qualified properly.
- Effectively communicate client needs to the Product Management, Product Marketing, and other Subject Matter Expert teams for future product enhancements.
- Provide end user training for the official Logpoint User / Admin training courses and occasional Masterclasses.
Your professional toolbox:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer, Customer Success Engineer, Services Engineer, or Technical Consultant.
- Proven track record working with complex enterprise solutions.
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives.
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts clearly and simply.
Who you are:
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in networking or software technologies, preferably in the security market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
