As a Sales Operations Specialist, you act as the central coordination point between our Regional Sales Managers (MEA & APAC) and internal departments at our headquarters in Belgium. Your mission is to ensure seamless communication and alignment of internal processes with sales objectives, enabling commercial success in the regions. This role is crucial in supporting the execution of sales strategies, optimizing reporting, and facilitating smooth cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency and business growth.



Your key responsibilities:


  • Operating from our headquarters, you provide centralized support to regional sales managers by ensuring internal alignment and coordination. You manage smaller customer accounts in the MEA and APAC regions, maintaining engagement and overseeing commercial follow-ups to strengthen relationships and foster growth. Additionally, you support the Regional Sales Director with key account follow-ups, price calculations, and collaboration with teams such as marketing, finance and supply & demand.



  • You help the sales team identify new business opportunities, maintain up-to-date prospect lists in the prospection tool, and ensure effective follow-ups. You also facilitate clear communication on stock promotions and product updates while working closely with sales and also sales support teams to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.



  • You oversee and manage certifications for different regions, ensuring regulatory compliance and handling shipment-related certifications. This requires cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and certification authorities.



  • To support sales performance, you coordinate regional sales meetings, ensuring alignment on priorities and follow-up on action points. You prepare management reports, including P&L analysis, and track key sales KPIs to provide strategic insights, you monitor customer performance in line with annual agreements (inc. end of year bonus). You also coordinate forecasting efforts with the sales and demand planning teams to ensure accurate projections and informed decision-making. Additionally, you provide operational support in preparing reports and presentations for the annual operation plans (AOP), assisting in the consolidation of key sales data to ensure structured and data-driven planning.




Your qualifications


  • Higher degree in business, economics, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales support, sales operations, inside sales, or business analysis role, preferably in an international environment.
  • Strong ability to analyze sales data, generate insights, and support decision-making processes through reporting and forecasting.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills to act as a bridge between regional sales teams and internal departments.
  • Experience with sales reporting systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Familiarity with forecasting and prospection tools is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, ensuring accuracy in reporting, certification handling, and follow-ups.
  • Self-driven with a problem-solving attitude and a focus on improving sales operations efficiency.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, preferably also in French - both oral and written. Additional regional languages are a plus.
